    Held annually on the first Sunday of August since 1872, the Pioneer Picnic initially honored the first settlers and continues as an entertaining day of food, music and tours of artifacts housed in the Pioneer Cabin and museum. 

    Attend the picnic, visit the one-room schoolhouse and Perry's first church building—which is also on the Pioneer grounds.

    With a great entertainment lineup, this is always an excellent day!

    Parade Route: 

    • 12 Noon: Leave from the Charcoal Corral
    • Take Rt. 39 South to East Lake Rd., to West Lake Rd., to Oatka Rd. to Federal St. to Rt. 39, back to the Corral. Lunch and/or refreshments may be purchased at The Charcoal Corral. 

    This is a “just for fun event”; however, there are some 

    Rules & Regulations:

    • Only driver allowed on tractor...no riders allowed! (Sorry, we must include cab tractors, as well)
    • Drivers must have a valid NYS Driver’s License. 
    • All tractors must have SMV sign mounted on rear.
    • It is the responsibility of each driver to have own insurance coverage in place. Drive is not sponsored by any persons or organizations. 
    • Leader will establish pace of 6-7 MPH. Your tractor MUST be able to maintain that speed. Common sense rule for tractor size.
