Chefs Travis Barlow (Hole in the Wall) and Stephen Kingston (Instructor, Genesee Valley Educational Partnership) are joining forces to host a fundraising gala event titled FEED THE NEED, in honor of Anita Billings, whose passion for supporting the work of Wyoming County Community Action Inc. and those it serves were the sparks that led to her concept for this special event. All proceeds outside of the expenses of the event will be donated to WCCA, whose work as an independent agency spans four divisions: Employment & Training, Housing, Mudpies & Milestones Childcare, and Angel Action.

Tickets ($50/person) may be purchased at three locations in Perry, at the Hole in the Wall Restaurant, Burlingham Books, and M&T Bank, or from Community Action for Wyoming County Community Action, Inc. (WCCA) board members.

For this event, Genesee Valley Educational Partnership (GVEP) students will have the opportunity to join forces with the Hole in the Wall (HW) restaurant staff and volunteers to produce the event which will offer four different food stations, each with top notch cuisine.

Attendees will be able to visit with Community Action team members and learn about the needs they serve across Wyoming County while exploring a photography exhibit designed by local artist, Bob Doyle, that offers a visual illustration of some of the ways WCCA does their work.
